Cairasca and Divedro Valleys

The fourth stage of the Gran Via del Devero will take us on a stunning ride, mostly downhill, along the beautiful Path of Flowers, above the Fairies’ Forest: the place names aptly capture the spectacular and unique environment that characterizes the valleys we will cross and touch (Val Cairasca and Val Divedro). It will be a return journey from the high mountains to the valley floor, admiring the massif of Monte Cistella (2880 m a.s.l.) —which we "circumnavigated" since the first steps — from the perspective of its wild and untouched slopes. Gradually immersing ourselves in its beautiful hamlets, we will then reach Varzo, where those in a hurry can catch the train and, skipping the last stage (which would be a real shame!), return to Domodossola train station, the starting point of the journey.
